• Identify the achievements and contributions of a prominent leader/figure in the Black community.  How did their achievements and contributions influence modern day society and young Canadians?

• In your measurement blog cycle 2-reflect on process leading up to the Performance Task (collaborating on the blog, placemat activity, and math talk in class) and how it helped you to extend and analyze the question.

PAST DUE: 

• Heritage & Citizenship Wiki in your research, examine the positive and negative effects of interactions between Europeans and First Nation Peoples (focussing on your assigned perspective: religion / trade / food / education / medicine / natural resources / government needs / social needs / physical needs).
• Social Studies: view the videos on the Social Studies Blog and respond to the guiding question (one original response and comment on another students response).
