• Identify the achievements and contributions of a prominent leader/figure in the Black community.  How did their achievements and contributions influence modern day society and young Canadians? 

SOCIAL STUDIES:  Continuity and Change google docs group discussion in-class and complete questions at-home due Friday March 1st.

Business Day: 

• Create a mission statement page
• Each member of the team will research their favourite company and browse through their website-find their mission statement and paste into your wiki (also hyperlink the company website to your wiki page)

Business Day due Friday:

• further research what your roles/responsibilities are as a leader
• finalize: customer survey analysis
• finalize: research on related businesses and business contacts

PAST DUE: 

• Heritage & Citizenship Wiki in your research, examine the positive and negative effects of interactions between Europeans and First Nation Peoples (focussing on your assigned perspective: religion / trade / food / education / medicine / natural resources / government needs / social needs / physical needs).
• Social Studies: view the videos on the Social Studies Blog and respond to the guiding question (one original response and comment on another students response).
