Thank you all, students and parents for another wonderful year of learning at McMurrich!!!

It is hard to believe that only 10 months ago we embarked on this journey in the Grade 6 group in Room 308.  We have all built upon many of our strengths and overcome many obstacles.  Thank you for inspiring me and each other to move forward in our learning community and to continue to make a difference by starting with ourselves.

Enjoy your summer time with family and friends, at home or away.  May you face new challenges head-on and continue to build upon your voice, because each of you has something of value to share with others. Perseverance and selflessness are two words that come to mind when I think of our class community.

Good luck on your Grade 7 journey! I look forward to whatever the next school year brings  :o)
The school year has ended and teachers/staff have begun to pack up school supplies for the summer clean-up.  Unfortunately, many resources are still missing from the classroom (e.g., math textbooks, chapter books, graphic narratives) as well as from the school library.  Please, search through items at home and return them tomorrow to the office.  If you should come across items/resources over the summer, please bring them during the first week of school so that new students have access to resources.  Your continued support is much appreciated.

Find us on the Web!  http://mcmurrichschool.blogspot.com/

McMurrich is having a waste audit done on the morning of Wednesday, June 5th. This audit is provided by the TDSB Eco Team and its success is dependent on volunteer help.

We are in need of 2-3 parents/supervising adults to record audit findings, take photographs and/or interpret for visiting classes. We will have a teacher present for the morning as well as 8-10 Jr. students who will help to facilitate set-up and auditing. Parents would need to arrive at school by 8:30 am.
This waste audit is being carried out to help with our Eco School Re-certification process and to inform our school community about our waste habits as we prepare to possibly apply for inclusion the board's green bin pilot project.
