Today: the weather was wonderful today as it allowed the Grade 6 students to conduct their field study at Cedarvale Park.  Students were true ambassadors of McMurrich as they respectfully trekked through the park making a variety of observations on the diversity of living things in a city park.  

Math:  create a list of different two-dimensional shapes that you encounter on your way to and from school

Science:  Focus on refining your observational notes and illustrations (use of colour optional). Bring in booklet tomorrow as class time will be provided to share findings/observations.  Booklet focussing on the Silent Symphony / Wetlands / Fossils & Plants / Adaptations is to be completed for Friday October 5th.
