Language: Re-create your voki avatar and record your fruit poem for Monday October 29th.

Math: Exploring Rectangles, MMS: p 358, #6 - 10.  Remember to deconstruct the word problems using INFO/WHAT/SHOW/STATE.  Partners worked well during this task.

Measurement: share your thoughts and strategies on how you would go about organizing these two events in the track meet blog.

Social Studies: This will be your written Entrance Pass for Monday:

  • Reflect on what this quote means to you. 
  • Describe a local/gobal issue that concerns you, how might you begin to help solve this issue?
    (Create an action plan- this should be realistic for you to follow through on)
Music: Consider a modern composer who has inspired you with their music and create a digital timeline of their achievements.  Begin to organize your information within "timetoast".  A student sample of a work in-progress has been shared within the music blog. DUE November 2nd.

WE SCARE HUNGER: bring in a non-perishable food item to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank.  Place your items in the boxes located outside Room 109.  Attentively listen to the student announcements about hunger issues in our city.
