MATH: 

• Visit the Math Number Sense Blog and share a variety of strategies on how you might solve the challenge: Sharing Strawberries.  This is an opportunity to brainstorm, piggyback and extend ideas in your math thinking.  This will be our Performance Task for this Friday.
• looking at Factors (prime and composite numbers), creating factor trees

SCIENCE:  Energy/Electricity wiki.  Expert group have been reorganized into impactgroups. Using the wiki pages as a guide compare and contrast two forms of energy.  Analyze the long-term effects on the environment of humans using energy and natural resources.  Suggest ways to reduce these impacts.

SOCIAL STUDIES: 

• visit the Social Studies Blog, watch the Heritage Minute video  and respond to the guiding question.
• Heritage & Citizenship Wiki, focussing on the social, physical and government needs of First Nations groups before explorers/european contact.  Research due Thursday January 24th
